tallow haiku

by Glenn Currier

The Chinese tallow

whispers impending sleep in

a falling rainbow

11/29/2003

Author's Note: This tree flourishes in the southeastern U.S. Most of my life I have lived with the tallow--in my childhood home and our present home. It has a different message with every season.

I think I could set before this page and find loving peace. Beautifly written and presented!

A new word (tallow) for me Glenn, and interesting combo of words and colors to reinforce the rainbow aspect. Thanks for sharing this. :o)

The literal images and the physical images presented in this haiku do very well to compliment each other

Intriguing and colorfully descriptive in word and color.
