Self Portrait by Cole MillerIn that
Halffocused
Place between
The .night.sky.
And the .glass.
Is where
I would
Paint myself
11/12/2003 Author's Note: when youre out driving with someone, (not you actually driving, thats dangerous) and you look out the window. You can see your reflection. that reflection is what im talking about here...

Posted by Max Bouillet on 11/13/03 at 07:39 PM This is an exquisite piece of reflective writing --literally. I can see the image plastered in the heavens, but realize its only an illusion and want to piant myself there so that I may gain some permanence to the sensation. Exquisite! |

Posted by Lori Johnson on 11/13/03 at 08:13 PM Refreshing, I get a cool visual. Next time, I'm getting someone else to drive so I can join you. :)

Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 11/14/03 at 08:28 PM Yes, I've seen that kind of reflection often. It has an etheral or surreal quality about it. An intriquing concept. |

Posted by Andrew S Adams on 12/04/03 at 04:35 AM i can not even begin to explain how i love this one so. it's so subtle, but you do so much with the form of the piece- and it's very, very concise. this is what poetry should be. wowza. peace:a |
