Bring On The Rain

by Charles E Minshall

Rain, rain come and stay,
We need water for a summer day.
On second thought please go away,
When it's raining we can't play.
Well maybe we can if we stay inside,
We can snuggle up by the fireside.

As always Charlie.. you leave me with a smile, at the mixture of yes and no.. and the ability to find a bright side to either...

Snuggling by the fireside is my favorite way to spend a rainy or cold wintry day.

Capturing both sides of the wonder of rain with this, I'll opt to let it pour! Good one Charles.

Nifty, fun poem. Rain's good, and so is the cozy fireplace. :)
