laughter echoes by Michele Schottelkorblaughter echoes
madness abounds
(peer within the little glen)
wishing to sleep forever,
the woman-child squints
beyond the sun-filled sky
to find the moon
(a ray of shelter from the storm)
as the laughter echoes
and the madness abounds 09/16/2003 Author's Note: another poem about the woman-child that is me...
