Lost at Sea

by Stephanie Kent

Pushing my way through a crowd
A sea of lonely, nameless faces
But I will find you
Swimming against the current
Floundering in the mass confusion
But I will find you
Lonely in the confining crowd
Searching for a face I've never seen
But I will find you

Great poem Stephanie...It is such a strange feeling to be lost in a place with people all around you..a familiar feeling indeed.

Your poem evokes a vivid lonliness... also a force and energy that is entirely individual yet so social.
