Earth's Canvas

by Melissa Arel

Unnoticed
Unseen
Omnipresent

Forgotten storms

Colored stars

Chalky moons

Twinkling twilight throught the night's dark cloak

Hiding the unmerciful sun

Stretched out to behold the valleys
Plains
Mountains
Streams

Sunlight giving life to deathly-marked shadows

Night air breezing
Shivering

Beholding all whispering sighs.

For being one of your first poems, this is pretty good Melissa. I always enjoy seeing/reading how others started.

This is a pretty little piece and the title fits it perfectly.

knowing very well the present and the middle, it is wonderful to see a piece from the very beginning...and showing already the future concern with color light and image...good poem Mel

Ah, sweet... a nice reflection of the wonder of nature!
