Earth's Canvas by Melissa Arel
Unnoticed
Unseen
Omnipresent
Forgotten storms
Colored stars
Chalky moons
Twinkling twilight throught the night's dark cloak
Hiding the unmerciful sun
Stretched out to behold the valleys
Plains
Mountains
Streams
Sunlight giving life to deathly-marked shadows
Night air breezing
Shivering
Beholding all whispering sighs.

Posted by Ken Harnisch on 06/08/03 at 03:21 AM knowing very well the present and the middle, it is wonderful to see a piece from the very beginning...and showing already the future concern with color light and image...good poem Mel |
