Be a Vacuum

by Rhodora M Fitzgerald

Suck up the dirt from the earth
and dispose of it readily.
Keep your own floor clean
and don't forget
to change your filter frequently!

As Leonard Cohen once put it, we writers have to blacken a lot of pages, before we get to the good stuff, or better vacuum a lot of brain cells! :o)

Its not just a silly little image. No change can ever happen unless the room is cleaned.Nothing can really be attained if the rooms are untidy and unclean. You have said this effectively.

I was thinking... Oh, she's an environmentalist! then enjoyed the moment of routine in a home. Also reminded me that I have not changed the filter for three months... and I wonder why I cough and my eyes water... thanks for the pause into reality.
