Window of Love

by Rhodora M Fitzgerald

Alone,
we are like scattered shards of glass
of many different colors...
some translucent
others opaque,
some with jagged deadly edges
others with smooth and shiny surfaces.

But when love solders
our disjointed pieces together
We become one
glorious stained glass window.

WOW! So true. Excellent analogy and use of metaphor Rhodora. A new favorite of mine. Must print this out and add it to my collection of favorites by other people!

Excellent analogy! Effective formating. I am just too lazy to work with all of that html coding. LOL!!

This spectacular piece is a wonderful analogous of how valuable love and life truly are. Although we may seem whole on our own, it is our interaction that makes us complete. Nice work Rhodora. Peace...
