A Telephone Call

by Anne Engelen

Heavenly sedated

Curled up on the floor

Freshly generated peacefulness

Fulfillment to the core

Listening...barely hearing

Your sighingly breathing

Contradicting the pace

At which my heart’s beating

All my senses’intensities

Tremendously got multiplied

As I lay totally satisfied

Enjoying

The most incredible feeling of all

Inspired and nurtured

By your telephone call

Ah, sweet mystery of love! Your satisfaction flows out so strongly, I MYSELF felt good too. I like the rhymes. They are fun and unexpected. These experiences are, indeed sweet. Intimacy can be a healing thing can't it?

Yes ideed, some telephone calls are like a hot bath, reassuring our weaker traits and reconfirming our existance. Good one Annie!

I really like this one Anne, you've captured the emotion in images and conveyed it with an economy of words - a stand out! - RCat

I gotta talk to my phone company... my calls also seem so bland and business like! Great read.
