An invitation to death I by Rommel CruzDeath, come to me gently as I sleep Like pleasant dreams of memories passed And cherished love forever in my keep
Death, come to me gently as I sleep Like a soft bed of leaves amassed And cool breeze that cuts me deep
Death, come to me gently as I sleep 08/24/2002 Author's Note: As you can see/read, I just want a peaceful death. No accidents, illness whatever =)

Posted by Kate Demeree on 12/12/02 at 02:19 PM Umm... I found it also tranquil, a soft invitation, not to an ending but the beginning of a step along a different road. Perhaps because to me death is not an ending but the start of a whole new journy. I loved the note at the end! lol... no accidents indeed. |
