Posted by Laura Doom on 06/05/07 at 10:37 PM Ha! A somewhat less than sentimental journey back to my first Win98SE o/s - and the 'Love's Logic Lost' behaviour that ghosts through the imagery here :) |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 06/04/08 at 03:25 PM I love poems such as this that combine computer jargen and humanity. Reminds me of those clever TV commercials for Apple and Microsoft PCs...and their faulty VISTA operating system. I learned my lesson last time upgrading from Windows 98 to XP. Excellent work Charles! |

Posted by Ryan Nardi on 06/06/08 at 02:40 PM Excellent! Reminds me of the interrogation scene in Logan's Run. I love that you took the idea and ran with it and made it work. Very harmonious piece here. And the rhyming helps rather than hurts which is always good. Again, excellent work! |
Posted by Jean Mollett on 06/08/08 at 08:18 PM Hi Charles,
Great write, quite clever. Think we've all been through this in one time or another in our lives.
This is quite different, the way you've blended everything together. |

I think the way I see these keys may be forever changed by gaining love for how this poem makes poetry of hangups, glitches and freezes finding an end. Great poem.

Posted by Rob Littler on 03/01/12 at 04:50 PM I think it is the implication of keystroke, of function, of usage in this love poem that makes me like it so much. Anyone who knows what I mean, ALT+F4 your self right now...and read a book. |
