STRIP POKER

by Melissa Arel

Life has dealt the cards, and I've played a few
Fate on my left, peaking over Destiny's shoulder
Catching those wandering eyes
He smokes a cigar, lips laced with brandy
Time bluffs his hand while I make my move
It's funny, we've always been such a gamble
