The Love In Which I Fell

by JD Clay

Searching every universe
And distant galaxy
To find it freezing cold without
Your heat surrounding me

I feel the flame inside your heart
Embers flowing in your veins
Let me taste your fiery soul
And sizzle when it rains

Stoke the blaze combust me now
Come melt me with your lust
Until I am a pool of flesh
Devour me if you must

From your spark ignite my world
A molten paradise to dwell
And give me passion sweeter than
The love in which I fell

It's been a while since I've read this last and I was pleased to see it appear again. Such great lines and emotions in this piece leading up to the perfect ending. Great job!

Provacative piece jadi. With steamy stanzas like this carried in one's heart, I'm sure they could melt any cold spot in the universe.

jadi, unusual poem for you in its rhyme, but it is a real delight to read. It burns with that red love.

This was the first poem to wink it's welcome on my return to PPS. It has been sitting patiently waiting, wondering if and when m.a would enter, adventure into this space her thoughts. Today it found me again, and I am drawn to heartspeak in the comment-box. The energy, the passion, the vibrance with which 'The Love In Which I Fell' opens all my senses, is the force that has become familiar to me. I surrender to the knowing it enters subtle as breath, sweeps me away to unimagined heights, where I become the air and the flame in a oneness with the breath of a poet whose words are embers flowing my veins - that ignite, throb and melt me like no other. It is a privilege to be here to read such gems. It is a privilege to be here to experience Jadi, Maestro and Angel. For you, Poet my first comment. Lovelight&peace *maria angelina

Oh how I can feel such coldness, alone, without..we are most alone when the world appears to be even larger than it is..heartfelt and I can say I couldn't have said it as well. :)
