From a Phone Booth by John HarderSubtle sign
Drop me a line
Unnoticeable truth
Staring from a phone booth
Move my finger
seven times
How hard could it be?
You're just like me
I don't know how
or what to say
Will it come out
in a wrong way?
Holding the receiver
One button left to press
Instead I hang up
There's too much stress
So many missed opportunities
to talk, to say hello
All because I'm too sensitive
my thoughts may never show

| Posted by Melissa Arel on 01/31/03 at 12:47 PM I agree w/Kimmie - this flowed perfectly.. The words echo your trepidation.. leaves us wishing you'd just call! I like it.. wonderful read :) |

| Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 10/05/04 at 01:59 PM a wonderful little semi saga and expressed so powerfully in rhyme. |
