love in secret
In 1798, William Wordsworth published his Lyrical Ballads which contained, together with the Prelude, much of his finest poetry. Therein are the so-called 'Lucy' poems. After re-reading these poems, I wrote these songs to love in secret. Of course these are not set in Wordsworth's English Lake District, but in Erris (County Mayo), Ireland
