Posted by George Hoerner on 08/27/12 at 12:49 AM Yesterday I attended a 50th birthday party for the husband of my wife's cousin. It was a surprise and at least one person came from South America to attend. It was a nice party with nice people. He still looks young to me. But then I turned 3/4 this year and I've always been a terrible judge of age. Just take it in your stride. If you have few medical issues you are lucky. I just had the best "blood workup" I've had in years. Tell all about when you reach 3/4 if I'm still around.

Posted by Kristina Woodhill on 09/09/12 at 06:02 PM I love George's entry, Ali, about being 3/4. That puts me not quite at 2/3rds. Ha! As to being 1/2, you are the half-full type and you will breeze into your next decade without a hitch, I'm sure.

Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 09/10/12 at 01:14 PM That's OK Ali. 50 was a breaze for me, but I realize that not everyone looks at ageing the same way. I'm turning 55 on October 30th. My only regret is that I didn't possess the widom I've attained over the years back when I was younger. I'd hate to go back and do it all again without that wisdom.
