Upcoming poems

I hope to post new poems soon. One will be called Cloudmasters. I have the scenes already in my mind, i just need to find the words. =). The other will be another rain poem. It will have the following lines "you braved the storm before, you'll get by the rain." Thanks to Krista for this one. It was an advice to her. =)

It seems that people are afraid to comment on my poems because of what I previously entered here on my journal. Hey it's ok guys, if you want to tell me that my poems are beautiful, I wont bite. LOL. Who doesnt want to get praised anyway. As Anne reminded me, beauty is subjective (and that she has bad taste because she likes my poems. LOL) Feel free to say whatever you want. OK? If you dont leave a note, I'll chop your heads off. LOL. =)

Smallville

Im obsessed over smallville now. LOL. And the songs too. I love playing the songs. Somebody saaaaave me. LOL. And yeah, i love Everything by lifehouse, supernatural by divine right, whereever you will go by the calling. I love I'll be too by edwin mccain though i dont think that's a smallville song. =)

On writing

well im still having difficulties writing. i just cant write. *sigh*. well i tried one today, angel of the night. took me a few minutes to finish it, but it just doesnt read right. i need to get really depressed soon. lol. =)

Poetry Subjectivity

I think poetry can be really subjective. I may think of one poem as extraordinarily brilliant whereas another will think it's lame and stupid. Maybe this has something to do with language and experiences. If the words are too much for me that I need to look in the dictionary every now and then, no matter how good the imagery and form may be, it will just suck because, well I dont understand it. And why am I writing this? To waste bytes of hard disk space maybe. LOL =)

I sent a message to Gavin today asking on how the top poem is computed. Now why will I be interested in such? Just curious I suppose. *wink* lol. Hope he answers me back soon. =) He has always have in the past anyway. =)

Criticism

I finally saw/got criticism to day. The messages/comments Im been getting are always "good poem. nice poem" blah blah. I mean hey, dont get me wrong, I love being flattered, but when we all know something sucks and you still get praised, then you gotta be thinking. I think that people just dont post "negative" comments because they are not sure how it will be taken. I mean people do have a tendency to get hurt and overreact by "unkind" words. Oh well, keep the flattery coming but please also some criticism. But please be constructive and not juust say this or that sucks. It will be very helpful and greatly appreciated if you can say why and how I can improve it. There im giving you license.

I never liked talking to the authorites or anyone in position. It just feels weird to me in that maybe people will think I have a hidden motive or anything by talking to them. *shrugs* So i just distance myself as far as possible. But I kinda broke that self-rule here in pathetic. Im now reading stuff by our administrators and this I could say : darn me for not doing so earlier!. LOL. =)

Anne just said my name in Dutch/Flemish means junk! Nooooooo. LOL. I should go to court and have it changed then. LOL. Good thing I don't live in Belgium. =p

I've been made aware that there are actually people reading my journal. GAVIN!!!! Help me secure my journal! LOL. J/k. It's posted here on the net so I (and anyone for that matter) shouldnt expect it to be confidential.
