Out of order

busy again. that's why i havent really been reading/commenting on a lot of poems lately. reading a new series, the dragon lance series. the ones with raistlin and caramon. finished 5 of the books already in the last 2 weeks. still have 3 unopened/packed books here. =) after this series, i'll get harry potter book 5.

anyway, i posted a new poem. another meaningless poem. an exercise. hope someone out there appreciates it. =)

So the Levi's 501 white jeans together with the white polo shirt (with design of course! I'm not a schoolboy anymore to wear plain white - or any other color - shirt.) that I bought last week are still not worn and I think they wont be worn anytime soon considering it's already the rainy season here. Now why on earth did I buy it if I know I wont be able to wear it? Because I can? LOL. Seriously, I have been looking for one for months now (I have an old one but I don't know where it is, plus it would be too tight on me now), even asking sales representatives when they are going to release white jeans. So when I finally saw the white jeans I immediately tried them on. But the store didnt have my size so I had to look at another mall.

Now what's the point of this journal entry? Nothing. Absolutely nothing! LOL.

Withered is a bit disappointing. It's already up for a few days and it still has very few reads. *sigh* It has 5 comments. I think that's more than what most people get though.

I wrote my first ever haiku. =)))

Haikus look so simple but have so many rules. Cloud Master took a lot of time to write. Hope it's not so bad.

I have another haiku but i'll probably post it tomorrow.

Broken Pieces of Me

... is still not finished. Even if it already has a lot of comments, people saying they like it, I'm still not satisfied with it. The ending, I believe is too weak. I am contemplating on putting it up on the poetry clinic. The problem is that well it has already so many comments on it that people might think I just posted it to fish out more comments. *sigh* Being considered as ending "How long will i remain Ripped from myself Shattered by your dreams Broken ino nothingness"

Famida Basheer's IM about Broken Pieces of Me.

Broken pieces... I found it wholesome because you broached the subject so well.. You started with a question which set the stage for the reader's eye to look for answers.. (The whole poem is in answer to four vital questions..)Then you dealt with the physical aspect,the mental aspect of self esteem and lastly the tone of resistance. Thirdly and most importantly, your use of language is flawless..the grammar is neat and the punctuation careful. You have not repeated a word although you could have...Brushed, Bruised,Splattered, Bleeding,Ripped, Shattered , Broken.. You've been very careful :)..and it doesn't look contrived at all! :D Kudos!
