neverending story

i finally found "the Neverending Story" on DVD and picked it up for Aud... we have the second one, but i wanted her to be able to see the movie that i loved so much as a child... we went out and had dinner together... then came home to watch it... what joy it was to hear her laughter simultaneous with mine when Falcor, the Luck Dragon laughs... this is why i say my daughter is the love of my life... here are the song lyrics to "neverending story"... remember to be a child, especially when life feels especially hard...

oh yes, and on a side note... if perchance you pick up Guinness Extra Stout, instead of regular ole Guinness, might i suggest you save it for making a black 'n tan (Bass Ale... mmm)... it just isn't as good as the original when supped alone... my tip of ale for the day...

and, if your drinking a black 'n tan, or several... might i also suggest running naked through your backyard... *grin*

i’m going to miss you… in my selfish little way… not being able to pick up the phone on a whim or jump in the car for a 5 minute drive to arrive where my ale-laden head has a trusted shoulder to cry on… *wink*… ok, i know, it’s just a week… so i’m spoiled… *grin*… seriously… you are my blessing, so may this be yours… a week of love and light and inspiration… i love you, man… safe return, my bestest friend...
