to all good, kind, decent, loving daddies around the world... happy father's day and thank you, for being you...

i am grateful he will be home tonight... he has been missed... more than he knows...

Burning Man Website Up
06/18/2004 01:52 a.m.

a couple of my friends here have been asking me about Burning Man... i finally uploaded our camp's website last night... it still needs a little work... but you'll get a flavor of what i'll be doing a week before Labor Day this year :)...

i'm getting excited... (and, for any of you that do go and check it out... let me know if you see any errors, besides me publishing my poetry in white... *grin*... thanks Daniel :)...)

we watched, and we cried...
06/12/2004 04:11 a.m.

...and we paid our respect... mine with a raised military salute, my husband with his right hand over his heart and a tear rolling slowly down his face and our 4 year old daughter with her right hand over her heart whilst dancing around our living room floor, as a final 21 gun salute rang out over the library just 60 miles away... and we watched, as millions around the world watched with us, as she, First Lady Nancy Reagan, lay her head softly upon his, President Ronald Reagan's, casket and said her final goodbye with the words "I love you"...

blessings to you, Mr. President... thank you for your service to our great country and to the people of this beautiful world...

a moment of silence...
06/07/2004 05:33 a.m.

We will always remember. We will always be proud. We will always be prepared, so we may always be free.

—President Ronald Wilson Reagan, June 6th, 1984

a moment of silence, today, for the passing of our great 40th President of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan... and a moment of silence for the brave souls who stormed the beach of Normandy 60 years ago, so that millions of the world's peoples would be free today... so that a small person, such as myself, has freedom of speech and faith... so that i can live...

i am grateful tonight... in reflection... in reverance... and in humble awe...

blessings...

out of a dead sleep
05/29/2004 03:46 p.m.

it woke me, out of a dead sleep, this dream...
he was dying... and that was that... i woke up just sobbing... no exaggeration, it was the weirdest thing... the tears would not stop coming and i was crying so hard i was nearly convulsing... and i looked over, and he was breathing... i am crying thinking about it...

tonight we go back to where it began... and seek our souls for comfort...

the greatest mistake i ever made
05/27/2004 02:10 p.m.

was to believe i was not an idiot.

poetry is tricky... yes, i wrote my husband a very heart-felt, soul-searching poem yesterday... and yes, i meant every fucking word of it... but,

some things never change...

hope you're happy...

trippy homepage love
05/26/2004 11:12 p.m.

it is the oddest thing... my homepage is set to pathetic... when i just signed on, i glanced at the bottom toolbar and running in the left-hand corner is a scrolling set of words: "I Love You X I Love You X I Love You"... pretty darn nifty... especially today...

i wonder if i'm seeing things... *grin*

(happy anniversary babe...)
