hidden pain by Holly H DunneHIDDEN PAIN
Caress the lily white perfection
Deceiving their eyes, its only skin deep
Prise the petals apart and watch your misery seep out
Cold and hard it carves its path of destruction
Teeth devour your angst and the tail leaves a sting
Searing hot pain nourishes your empty soul
Catch the drops of scarlet gold
Now it's raining tears of emotion
It's all sucked out and you're consumed with nothingness
The fatal rivers twist and dance
Secret anguish makes its mark
On the lily white perfection
Leaving scars of your sorrow

Posted by Quinn Vokes on 01/09/03 at 11:51 PM yes rommel, i think so as well. everyone has hidden pain... but somehow keeping it a secret makes you feel better, b/c you like having a secret, something that's all your own and no one can touch... |
