Phoenix Faux

by Clara Mae Gregory

Value
A life

is
it

Worth
Less

Than
A bug

Once stomped,
Done?

Are we
recycled
Light

Where Death
Darkles

the answer?

Can there be
Transliterated
Versions
Of our selves

Suspended in Timelessness

Hanging
Inside
Zion's Closet

Embroidered
With new names
And Spiritual Bodies?

Will we live again,
Unsoiled

With
Pure
Shine?

Or Is the soul
Just a Phoenix Faux?

Thought provoking! I certainly hope not as per the final question. Well done!
