Here’s to simpler times
as complicated as they may have seemed
or really been
compared to the times of today

And here’s to those no longer with us
who helped make those simpler times
so special as we continue to
carry them in our hearts for

It’s been said we all long for a place
that no longer exists
now only a state of mind
so here’s to the simpler times ahead

And in best not knowing what the future brings
