whole world now knows he is
seeking petty revenge on anyone
who’s slighted him
may have underestimated Western Europe
especially Denmark
in their willingness to
kiss the Godfather’s ring
Intelligent rational diplomacy
dictates a deal could easily be achieved
something like Lend Lease in WWII
where the US would pay the Danes
for establishing a few bases
to keep their eye on things
but that kind of thought
seems to have been tossed out
the White House window
