And another year draws to a close. And what a year’s it’s been, in more ways than one; but then, aren’t they all?

It’s a good time to once again give tribute to all my loyal followers/readers for your patronage. And if you pay close enough attention to at least some of the more popular poems, the number of hits continue to rise. And for this, again, many many thanks.

One of the things that keeps me writing, though as you can probably tell from some of my musings of late, there’s always a pull to go the way of other writers, to fall completely silent. This slower pace of output however, suits me well for my age and health challenges, so no new body to be buried in the basement...at least not yet.

Although my last few collections have been divided into single years, don’t feel I’m ready yet to close off Staccato Rhythms, and so it will continue into the new year.

No further news on EMuse.org, the replacement site for Pathetic.org. I did PM the site creator, Gavin Roy, on Facebook, as to an approximate timeline, but he never got back to me.

And so, to close off, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and the best for your own endeavours in 2026!!!
