After 53 years
looks as though the therapy is working
and as all affected will attest
it’s been one hell of a ride

Who needs a psychiatrist?
at $200/hour
when you can do your own research
free on the Internet

And though not all empty boxes
checked off
enough so to conclude
the beast properly identified

Writing first and foremost
good therapy
but what happens?
when no longer feeling the need

While always nice to know
the pen nearby
should a certain muse
decide to drop in
