What the hang!
it only comes once a year
might as well live dangerously
paint the town chocolate
even if we stay home

Order in our own unique pizzas
or club sandwich platter
with side of gravy
no need for cake
though the son always bakes one
for his old man
guess what color it usually is

But oh!
those brownies!!
they sell up at the supermarket
four large squares
laced with chocolate chips
expensive but we love ‘em
as a special occasion treat
and what the hang!
it only comes once a year

We can even plant birthday candles on them
