Unlike a more notorious Ides
hopefully no assassinations this month
as Time marches on
to its own staccato rhythm

And out of 15 comes another 8
Infinity standing on end
somewhat hidden in the tangle
of what this is and really isn’t
that number seems to pop up a lot
and out of the woodwork
this time of year

Ah...but here we go
