Leaves changing colour
geese flying south
but here in Ottawa
we find ourselves blessed
in a temperature oasis
patio weather to be sure
if that’s your thing

Mid 20s Celsius
10 degrees above the norm
this past September
one of the dryest
since 1984
according to the
CBC Weather Network

One of the perks of Climate Change?
or has it always been this way?
though nobody’s complaining here
with more seasonal weather
predicted in a week or so

Meanwhile
if we see the geese turn around
and fly back north
then we’ll really know something’s wrong!
