I like that guy
the accidental actor
who went a long way
Oscar nominated for
Dances With Wolves
so many other great performances
member of The Order of Canada
among other accolades

And native no less
the real deal
none of this white guys
in brown paint nonsense
on the silver screen
from the Six Nations Reserve
Oneida tribe
right here in Ontario

Farewell brother
though our bloodlines are
vastly different
we are spiritually much the same
wish they’d do a marathon
of your work on TCM
we’re overdue
to get reacquainted
