While waiting for my cab
at the local Metro
-20 something outside with the WC

No word of a lie
a guy walks into the store
wearing nothing but a T-shirt
gym shorts and tennis shoes
no socks and no hair on his legs
to keep him warm
normal speed
like everyone else

My son says
it’s all the rage now
Cold Therapy
as in cold showers
polar bear plunges
and the like though
saw a documentary recently
that debunked the whole thing

So no thanks
think I’ll just stick to
my hot showers
and wait for summer
