lower-level demons
interrupting the tranquility
of my Facebook world

Who are these cretins?
these maligned human beings
oh! there’s a lot of hungry people out there
sometimes disguised as family
established friends
and how many copies of me
are circulating out there?

They lurk
creep in with those annoying friend requests
yet when you click on their pages
there’s nothing
no photos
no words
...personality

Who are these misfits?
ghosts that plague me
imitated - yes!
but never duplicated
and a poor imitation at that

And no
I don’t want to be your friend
