Yes, I wrote a lot of poetry
a lot of poems

Were they all masterpieces?
of-course not
only a small percentage

But they all served a purpose
in one or more ways
therapy utmost
for an ADHD mind

Each poem unique
in its inspiration and expression
all with roots in reality
though often given freedom
to fly unexpected destinations

And was it worth it?

Well, it helped kill a lot of time
waiting for eternity
knowing that others
maybe not everyone
could relate
in their own unique way
