Tis not a day I feel like writing
and yet the issues and ideas
are always there
like the space between heartbeats
enjoy the quiet while it lasts

And thank goodness for Facebook
wallpapers
those little pieces of sanity
that keep me anchored in offsetting
the darkness all around

Besides
the spiritual exoskeleton allows
a certain amount of wiggle room
in expanding and contracting parameters
for how else is one to learn and grow

Tis not a day I felt like writing
then you see I already have
and therein lies the paradox
for how could I have expressed this thought
without the use of words?
