My adult son who lives with me and I have a saying
usually about groceries
in these times of high prices
where every dollar counts
portion consumed

When one of us accidentally buys too much of a product
or we get our wires crossed
and both go out and buy the same thing

Although I’m planning on being cremated
if I were ever to have a headstone
on it I would want engraved
the words:

Well, it won’t go to waste
