And wildfire season kicks off
to an early start

Fort Nelson, BC
under evacuation order
Fort McMurray, Alberta
threatened yet again
it was a bad one in 2016
humidity and rain keep us safe
for now in Ontario, Quebec
and the Maritimes as always
are on their own

Of course
the simple way of
looking at it would be
the more forests burned
the less for next year
if not for the homes and businesses
lives caught in-between
