Bring May flowers
grass blushes a bright green
small leaves
burst from their branches
as they always have
and always will

And much in the universe
is as it should be
for some at least
an important loose end
will soon be tied

For the writer
the end of yet another story
each page a full box
metaphysically at least
in varying degrees
some similar yet
no two ever the same
together
singing in unison

April showers
bring May flowers
in more ways than one
