Never owned a Bengal
in all my years of catting
beautiful little animals with all those
wonderful two-tone spots

A cross between Asian Leopard
and domestic felines says Wikipedia
especially Egyptian Mau

With East Indian name
making them all the more attractive
a Bengal tiger with shorter legs
polka dots instead of stripes

And like many cats
they like to play in empty boxes
chase any and all loose ends
