Radically different
yet not unlike others
the Sea of Words
is deep and foreboding
for it takes a special submarine
to ply those waters

Prone to whirlpools
rogue waves
water spouts and hurricanes
portals and worm holes
to alternate realities
other places in space and time

The Sea of Words is vast
ever expanding
and can also be dangerous
as it stretches into infinity
yet conveniently small enough
to fit a man’s head
