Untied by Chris Sorrenti
Can be said
All lines of work
Whether unsafe or safe
Leave a lot of loose ends
I know when I retired
I sure did
Too much to do
Too little time
So much left undone
And in the golden years
New challenges mean
New loose ends to tie up
In my dreams
Or are they nightmares?
I have boxes of them cluttering
The attic of my mind
Calling out to me
For completion
Some of them get done
And others not
And those that don’t
No big whoop
Tomorrow is another day
