the great invasion was yesteryear
weapons sit rusting
in the endless fields
while a few lucky enough
collect orbs at the motherload Internet museum
as an early November snow
exudes them a temporary innocence
but also camouflages their true purpose
none other than to wage war
as some may ask if it’s time
for another great invasion
without realizing
the first may never have ended
and all the propaganda of desert dry
but a mirage in disguise
