Ducks Unlimited

Ducks by Jason Sorrenti Aug. 9 2023 b2

My son, Jason, and I were walking back home from a local doctor’s appointment, and decided to take a short cut.

Crossing through a wooded area between Bridal Path Drive and the Towngate Shopping Plaza, we came across a large pond, actually called The Duck Pond on Google Maps. Jason had already been through there several times, but for me it was a first.

As we stopped to look, a small army of ducks came up from the pond to greet us. We both laughed at the sight, realizing somebody had been feeding them. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any food, and continued on our way, but not before Jason got a shot with his smart phone.

Looks like you stumbled upon a matriarchal society there. :)
