Off the front page for now
they exist
in storage somewhere
hard drives and servers
memory sticks

Perhaps
never to see
the light of day again
except in some distant future
when the archeologists of language
translate these 21st century ‘glyphs

Still treasured
for their unique designs
by the creator
but weaker of the species
put on the back forty
to live out the rest of their years
centuries if need be

Experiments of the soul
stepping stones to the stars
and multiverse beyond
confident in having played
their own little part
in improving the breed
