Cause that’s what you’re supposed to do
When you live in a rut
You write a rut

We really should get out more
But what to do?
Where to go?
With leg in a wheelbarrow
Cart before the horse
And no more sidekicks
At least for now
We can thank but shouldn’t blame
A pandemic for that

And though somewhat bent
At least our humor
Hasn’t lost its sense
Instead of limping off in a huff
Write out that rut

And in the process
Maybe
Right a wrong
