Here I am again
the place where it began
and though the world
lost some of its charm
still beautiful in its own
time and space
remain the same
in a relative way
but I’m older
in my own little world still
but that’s OK
they know me here

fifty orbits strong
the more things changed
more they’ve stayed the same
as the elders knew
but didn’t warn nor
how much longer can it go on?

No matter
electronic gadgets cooler
Star Trek come to life
though sure do miss
that streetlight
and road hockey
mom’s haunting
“come home” call
