Of course
the safest line of work
would be to not write at all
but then what would be the fun in that?

Or as a brother in arms once stated
“A safe poet is a dead poet”
though being this kind of dead
may not be so bad after all

With age
happiness changes its meaning
as the whole thing speeds up
while slowing down

The pen is still there
if it should ever be needed
for as someone once said
tomorrow is another day
