Hurting

Body hurts
Mind hurts
Soul hurts too
The only consolation
There’s a lot of other people out there
Each hurting in their own way
As for writing it out
As the saying goes
It’s a dirty job but somebody’s got to do it
Though no matter how much
The verbal release valve is opened
It doesn’t change a thing
