LIFE

by Joan Serratelli

One has to live
To treat every day
as if it was
your last

To try to look forwards
To cherish one's memories;
but not to dwell
on the past

Life is a gift
open it with no caution
You never know
what comes next

Put the past
where it belongs
One cannot live

in the past
you cannot
right your mistakes
Just learn from
the past

live your life

Do not waste time
the end comes
sooner than
you think
