An hour’s wait at Canada Pension Plan
Watched TV with the phone on speaker
Nice background music
“If you’re call is not urgent,
you may want to hang up and try another time.”
Never did get through

Better luck at the main pension office
Actually talked to a real human being!
Discovered only my debit card number changed
Not my actual bank account
Tried CPP again
Informed there was now an hour and a half wait
No thanks
Question answered for the meantime

On to Presto bus pass
To change autoload credit card number
Couldn’t get through to a live person
No matter which way I tried
Press 1 for this
2 for that...
BLAH - BLAH BLAH - BLAH BLAH

After all that
Out to do groceries
Tomorrow will be roast pork
