Who am I to discuss
Female reproductive rights?
Yet still feel compelled to weight in

Surely
Most of us have had that one time
When in the heat of passion
Threw caution to the wind

And yet with so many kinds of contraception available
One wonders why still so much unwanted pregnancy
And what of those women impregnated
Through sexual crimes?

A real Handmaid’s Tale?
